I have been a resident of Barron Park since 2003 with my wife Alison and our five children. We have enjoyed being members of the community and our children have attended Barron Park Elementary, Terman Middle and Gunn High schools. I have been a member of the board since 2004 and Treasurer since 2007. I am the neighborhood coordinator of the May Fete celebration. Barron Park is a wonderful place to live.

I’m the BPA Newsletter proofreader, a liaison to the BPA Senior Lunch Group and BPA Happy Hour. I’m a Cool Block Volunteer and Block Preparedness Coordinator for Environmental Volunteer Services. I have helped organize our Holiday Caroling Party and hosted the BPA late summer Welcoming Gatherings. I’ve been a BPA Board member since 1992 and a Barron Park resident since 1991

Kellie Stafford |  Events Chair | email

Kellie was born and raised in Barron Park. She is the 4th generation Palo Alto resident living in the house she grew up in. The oldest of three siblings and the oldest of 15 grandchildren, she decided to have dogs instead of kids. Other than walking her two dogs, she likes to garden, be in or by any body of water, loves to travel, go to theater productions, visit historical sites, volunteer, and shop.

We have been Barron Park residents since 2011. I enjoy walking around Bol Park and love seeing Niner and Perry (hidden gems of Palo Alto). Outside Barron Park, me and my family like spending time in Downtown Palo Alto and appreciating the nature around our area. Our son graduated from Gunn in 2014 and daughter is currently a Sophomore at Gunn.

I’ve lived in Barron Park since 1977, raising three kids through Creekside, Juana Briones, JLS and Gunn. I taught French language and literature at the college level before switching to a career in foreign language textbook writing and publishing. Joining the BPA Board in 2016 and working on our newsletter is giving me an extraordinary new view of our unique neighborhood and its neighbors.
