At the August 16, 2022 meeting of the Barron Park Association Board of Directors the guest speakers were Garrett Pauls and Jodie Gerhardt from the Planning Department of the City of Palo Alto. The topic for the evening was a proposed development at 3400 El Camino Real, the site of the current Creekside Inn motel, Driftwood Deli and Cibo’s Restaurant. The Barron Park Elementary School PTA raises funds to support special programs within our school such as our Library, School Garden and Maker Studio; to host student educational assemblies; provide classroom supplies for our students, and most importantly, we issue field trip and after-school scholarships to students who cannot otherwise afford them. Barron Park Elementary School has approximately 30% socio-economically disadvantaged students, and we raise funds and issue scholarships to ensure all students at our school are able to access the same quality educational experiences and opportunities.
