May 21st Noon to 3PM
Barron Park May Fete Festival
Students and families, don’t miss the annual May Fete festival on Sunday from noon – 3pm at Bol Park! As well as the traditional Maypole ribbon wrapping ceremony, our own Barron Park historian will be there, along with a donkey visit, some old fashioned games, teen volleyball, Scouting troop 52 knot-tying lessons, pom pom making, learning to knit, other arts/craft activities, traditional music, pop up food tents, and Hawaiian ice! Buy tickets at the event and enter our raffle to win local prizes!
Looking forward to meeting up in our beautiful Bol Park, your planning team
Kellie Stafford and Star Teachout
PS: We will be including a teens-only volleyball set up with some Gunn volleyball players attending, so be sure to nudge your teens to attend. If anyone has an older teen who would like to help run some events we could still use a few to help with games and an art/craft table. If they are taking Living Skills in the summer we can give them community service hours towards the required 15 hrs needed to complete the high school course. There may also be prep time next week if they are looking for more time.
