The next Senior Lunch will be on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Corner Bakery Cafe. It is located at 3375 El Camino Real at the corner of Fernando where the Boston Market used to be, with plenty of parking either in front or behind the restaurant.
The Corner Bakery Cafe is cafeteria style so you will each pay for your own selection at the counter, and they will deliver your order to the table when it is ready. The prices are modest, there are no tips involved, and we even get a senior discount. You can look at the menu in advance by going to www.cornerbakerycafe.com.

Changes in plans can be made up until 10 AM the morning of the lunch by calling Rosemary Jacobsen at 493-9152. As usual, if anyone needs a ride, let us know and we will try to arrange one for you.

Reminder: BPA membership is still being renewed for April 2017-March 2018. Your donation helps support community building activities including: Emergency Preparation, New Resident Welcoming Packets, Movie Night in Bol Park, May Fete, Newsletters, Community Happy Hours, Annual Meetings and Potlucks. A great thanks to the 320 residents who have already joined the BPA. Costs associated with events have increased significantly and all donations are greatly appreciated.

The Barron Park Association “Services List” contains BPA members who wish to offer a service or skill to local residents. Many residents requested a list that might include: tutors, pet care, music/sport/fitness/art lessons, computer services, ride-shares, repair services, gardening, housekeeping, tailoring, notary etc. Childcare and babysitting will remain on the BPA Babysitter List.

Please join us for the annual Barron Park Movie Night and End of Summer Party in Bol Park on Saturday, August 26th.
The festivities will kick off at 6pm and the movie will end a little after 10:00pm.
