--smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 600\/100;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Fall is celebrated throughout many cultures around the world for its harvest and bounty and we have a lot to be grateful for in Barron Park.\u00a0 Please join your local community friends and neighbors at the Barron Park Association Fall Foodie Festival with cooking competition and Taiko cultural entertainment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Date:<\/strong>\u00a0Sunday, November 12th<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time:<\/strong>\u00a01pm to 5pm<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Barron Park Elementary School multipurpose room<\/p>\n<p><strong>Theme:<\/strong>\u00a0Fall festival food and entertainment from different cultures around the world<\/p>\n<p><strong>Entertainment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Special Taiko drum and music performance by the highly talented and respected <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kristyoshiro.com\/index\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kristy Ohsiro<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"lmfOYeNIcjVDqUG8mPhlJXLoaiZ1wFxrpo2ZLVBwtKkzJFQuWjEQTOGWAn0p9xR0gdrh\"><iframe title=\"Earth &amp; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen src=\"about:blank\" class=\"lazyload\" data-load-mode=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cooking Competition:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Inspired by the popular Food Network TV show Chopped, we will have a cooking competition where individuals or teams will receive a basket of secret ingredients typically used in fall cultural dishes around the world.\u00a0 They will take those ingredients to combine with their own and have up to one week to prepare a three course meal (appetizer, main course, dessert).\u00a0 The contestant dishes will then be brought to the event and evaluated by judges to determine a winner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other Activities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211;
