Mueller.\u00a0 Peter moved into Barron Park in 1980 after starting a two-decade career at EPRI on Hillview Ave. First job that was within easy bicycle distance. He remained active as an environmental research scientist for 63 years; for 50 of these years the research involved large groups in which local, state, national and international government and private sector folks participated.\u00a0 He said how great was to apply such experience in the service of my local community.\u00a0 He was a regular rider in his biking group.\u00a0 Here is a link to an interview with Peter in the year 2000 from the Holocaust Museum Collection-\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/collections.ushmm.org\/search\/catalog\/irn508203\">https:\/\/collections.ushmm.org\/search\/catalog\/irn508203<\/a> .\u00a0 He was an active member of the Barron Park Association Board for decades.\u00a0 He also participated actively in the Barron Park Senior Connections <a href=\"https:\/\/www.barronparkseniorconnections.org\/\">www.barronparkseniorconnections.org<\/a> which helps connect seniors in Barron Park for get togethers and lunches.\u00a0 Peter passed away February 16th.\u00a0 He was 96 years old.\u00a0 Please keep his wife Judith Ann and the family in your thoughts and prayers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; We are saddened to learn of the passing of our beloved board member Peter K.
