{"id":1521,"date":"2013-02-08T14:53:25","date_gmt":"2013-02-08T22:53:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bpapaloalto.org\/newbpa\/?p=1521"},"modified":"2013-04-19T15:06:07","modified_gmt":"2013-04-19T22:06:07","slug":"february-senior-lunch-at-da-sichuan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bpapaloalto.org\/newbpa\/february-senior-lunch-at-da-sichuan\/","title":{"rendered":"February Senior Lunch at Da Sichuan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: right;\">&#8230;&#8230;.From Bob Frost<\/p>\n<p>Here is the scoop on the\u00a0February BP Senior lunch.<\/p>\n<p>The date is Tuesday, <strong>Feb 12<\/strong>, time is <strong>1 pm<\/strong>, and the place is <a href=\"&quot;http:\/\/www.dasichuanrestaurant.com\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\"> <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Da Sichuan<\/span><\/strong><\/a>, a new Chinese style restaurant located at <strong>3781 El Camino Real<\/strong>. \u00a0To reach the parking behind the restaurant, turn onto Curtner and look for the parking lot immediately to the left.<\/p>\n<p>Da Sichuan has agreed to a special\u00a0flat price of $12 complete,\u00a0tax, and tip. To get this price we need to provide an exact count of the number of people coming.<\/p>\n<p>The menu has been pre-selected and includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sweet Corn Chicken Soup,<\/li>\n<li>Chinese Chicken Salad<\/li>\n<li>Sweet and Sour Pork,<\/li>\n<li>Beef with Broccoli,<\/li>\n<li>Prawns with Vegetables,<\/li>\n<li>Cashew Chicken,<\/li>\n<li>Dry Sauteed String Beans (for the vegetarians),<\/li>\n<li>Steamed Rice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Rosemary &amp; Julie will be collecting your money and handing out name tags as you come in.<\/p>\n<p>Please contact Bob Frost at <a href=\"mailto:bobfrost34@yahoo.com\">bobfrost34@yahoo.com<\/a> or 493-8272 if you wish to join with us for this lunch.<\/p>\n<p>Bob needs to know who is attending by Friday,\u00a0February 8<sup>th<\/sup> .\u00a0 People can cancel as late as 10 a.m. Tuesday morning February 12th, if necessary, by phoning\u00a0Rosemary Jacobsen at 493-9152.<\/p>\n<p>Since we are pre-ordering, <strong>it is important that all people who make\u00a0reservations show up.\u00a0<\/strong> So if you change your mind or can&#8217;t make it, \u00a0<strong>please<\/strong> let Rosemary know, even up to the last minute.
