Last Nights Free Ice Cream Social at Bol Park was a big hit and beat the heat! Over 200 scoops of ice cream were served to cool down Barron Park Residents!
Thanks to Karen and Amol Saxena for organizing the event and to the volunteers who scooped! The neighborhood posters were provided by CopyFactory! Lots of Fun and Socializing!
It was a fun event. We enjoyed talking with lots of neighbors. Thanks to all who organized, publicized and scooped the delicious ice cream. Yum!
I love neighborhood events. If we hadn’t had an unbreakable commitment, we both would have been there playing music and singing. We still have song sheets that Gwen Luce made for us when she was hosting ice cream socials.
Here’s to more neighborhood events. Maybe we’ll do a dance party in the Fall with simple French country dances that we teach and that everyone can do. It’s loads of fun.
