Boy Scouts Pack 52 meets at Juana Briones School. Our pack participates in community building activities like Scouting For Food. Scouting for Food is an opportunity for the boys to collect food from our neighbors to donate to those less in need. Our pack also has lots of fun. We go on outings like to the Santa Cruiz Beach Boardwalk, sleep with the fishes at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, sleep on the USS Hornet and of course go camping.
In addition to outings, our pack holds the traditional Pinewood Derby. At the Derby kids are given a block of wood and the opportunity to craft it into any kind of car they can imagine. We then race the cars against each other at our Derby Race day!
If you are interested in learning more about Pack 52 and Boy Scouts, please join us on Saturday August 25, 6:30 at the Juana Briones Multipurpose Room.
